artiframe db:onproject

The artiframe db:onproject command reads the .env file in your current project directory and launches the ArtiFrame DB Studio graphical interface in live (project-attached) mode. You can access your project's database with a single command without having to manually enter connection credentials.

Usage

$ artiframe db:onproject
🚀 Launching ArtiFrame DB Studio...
✅ DB Studio opened in the background.

Difference with Live Mode

Behind the scenes, it executes the DbStartCommand with the --mode=live flag. While this mode is active, DB Studio reads the .env file in your project's root directory and automatically connects to the database using the following variables:

.env VariableDescription
DB_HOSTDatabase server address (e.g., localhost)
DB_USER / DB_USERNAMEDatabase username
DB_PASS / DB_PASSWORDDatabase password
DB_NAME / DB_DATABASEDatabase name
Attention: An .env file must exist in the project directory before running this command. If the file cannot be found, the Studio will not launch, and you will see an error message: ❌ .env file not found.
