The Manifesto

ArtiFrame wasn't born out of a desire to make a splash. It was born out of a deep frustration caused by the extreme ends of the modern web ecosystem.

The Origin Story

On one side, modern monolithic frameworks were growing heavier daily, running hundreds of megabytes of vendor trash and dozens of abstraction layers just to handle a simple HTTP request. Developers were no longer writing code; they were configuring config files.

On the other side stood the raw speed of pure PHP. But chaos reigned there as well: writing the same routing, env, and CSRF mechanisms from scratch. Spaghetti codebases lacking discipline.

ArtiFrame emerged precisely at the intersection of these two worlds. The goal was to preserve the lightness and bare-metal execution speed of raw PHP, while bringing the architectural discipline and developer experience of a modern framework under one roof.

True Motivation

Developing ArtiFrame alone isn't a corporate PR stunt; it's an uncompromising drive to retain absolute control and reduce friction to zero.

Organizing My Own Desk: I was tired of losing focus navigating between 10-12 different windows (Postman, DB client, server logs) all day. ArtiFrame was born to consolidate my workflow.

I wanted to prove that modern and robust software can be produced with zero external dependencies, preventing developers from struggling for hours.

Why AGPLv3?

A conscious line of defense against the unilateral exploitation system. Billion-dollar corporations hide behind permissive licenses, take open-source code, and sell it as a closed-box SaaS.

Reciprocity is key. Anyone can use and distribute ArtiFrame's core freely. But if you offer it as a service, you must share your modifications.

If a corporation wants to embed it in a closed ecosystem, the standard is clear: Buy a commercial dual-license.
